Get the Most From Your Tradeshow Giveaways
A significant part of your company's advertising budget can be used by paticipating in trade shows. For this reason, you want to be sure that the invested time, money and effort wil bring positive returns. Your goal of gathering leads depends on your ability to attract visitors to your booth, and having a way to follow up with them after the show.
Send invitations to everyone on your list, and include a coupon that can be redeemed at your booth for a prize. This builds anticipation in your customers, and increases traffic to your booth.
Have at least two different types of tradeshow giveaways: one for customers and qualified leads, and one, less expensive item, for those that come by to "see what you are all about". If you give them an item with your company name and contact information printed on it, they will passively advertise your business at the tradeshow, and later, whenever the item is in view.
Remember, the longer people keep your giveaways, the longer those items will promote your company. Make sure they meet a lasting need. Then, not only will they create goodwill, but will continue to remind the recipient of your business.
